Sound and music are both a fascinating and imaginative art form. I am a committed and passionate sound-designer. I like bending frequencies and shaping sound into a meaningful and tangible story. With my sound design I bring visuals to life with a sound world that is imaginative and effective. Closely working with the video makers, designers, animators and musicians, I aim to amplify and compliment the vision and message with seamless synchronization between image and sound. I record and design sound using a variety of modern and vintage synthesizers, latest dsp and high quality outboard processing units. With a big love for studio and on-site recording I offer complete production from start to finish. Recording voiceovers, producing podcasts, audio restoration, mixing and mastering are all part of my ever expanding creative array.
Collaboration can lead to great new ways of thinking, working on projects and getting new and exciting results. Exactly for this reason I love doing workshops in a collaborative spirit. In my workshops I like to give room for participants to research, play and experiment both individual and collectively and present the results in a real-life situation. The final form of the end-result is researched and decided by the participants. Some provided subjects, techniques and tools include audio-visual theories, technical analyses of projects, brainstorming and mind-mapping. With a hands-on approach, I do encourage participants to keep an analytical eye and ear when crafting a collaborative live-music performance or interactive audiovisual installation.
Graphic design and visual identity is ever so important in the sales and marketing of products and artistic expression. I find creating the right balance between design, message and audience both inspiring and a welcoming challenge. I like to combine art and technology to communicate ideas through shapes, text and layout. In my designs I like to use colourful and impactful visuals with enough room for elements to breathe. I create crisp and conceptual graphic design using a mixture of 2D and 3D objects, shape layers, typography and textures for marketing, social media, presentations, web and print. The concept and scope of the project are an important factor to keep in mind, even so before drawing a single line. Meeting the right expectations and strategies with the client, art director and company helps not only creating better design, I believe it empowers the original vision and end-result to reach the right audience.
